Multilayered (Part 1): ATTRIBUTE 6 - Multilayered
By Tom Onquit
One of the most persistent tensions in work management is the tension between granularity and comprehension. Systems that capture every micro-task make it impossible for leaders to see the whole picture. Systems that provide executive-level summaries leave teams without the detailed structure they need to execute well. Most frameworks resolve this tension by choosing a level and living with the blind spots on either side.
WEEFAI does not resolve this tension by choosing. It resolves it by architecture. The framework defines six interlocking levels of work that together create a complete and connected picture — from the most ephemeral individual task to the most comprehensive multi-project summary. Each level contains what is below it. Each rolls up meaningfully to what is above.
