Definition: PRINCIPLE 10 - Deliver Daily with Reviews and Acceptances Before Work Completion
By Tom Onquit
In the AI era, work that once took humans days or weeks can be generated in minutes. If that speed advantage is not matched by a discipline of daily delivery, the efficiency AI enables goes unrealized -work sits, iterations stall, and backlogs grow stale. Deliver Daily means establishing the expectation that work moves forward every single day, not in weekly batches or two-week sprints.
But delivery without quality is not delivery—it is just output. This principle requires that AI-generated work be reviewed and iterated by the worker until it genuinely meets acceptance criteria and then reviewed and approved by a second person—a peer, lead, or manager—before it is considered complete. Work is not done when the worker says it is done. Work is done when it has been accepted by someone other than the person who produced it.
